I have 4 computers running on W2K. On one of them the render cow refuses to start. Any known issues/program conflicts?

HellBorn; Is there an error message of some sort, or what? If you did a recent update, then when you started a session, VuePro should have updated all of the Cows to the current build as well. If that didn't happen, the Cow will not start, and usually will shut down with an illegal operation error.

Nothing at all happend. I did remeber that when Vue 4 Pro first where relesed they did miss something in the cow installer so I tried the old trick and installed Vue 4 Pro on the computer. Apart from having to install 100MB of data on the computer and the legal aspect of it,the cow is now up and running. ;)

Ah. For the future, there's a link at the bottom of the page of the most recent patches to the archive section. Go there and download the stand alone ProCow file. That has all the correct files in it, and is a bit quicker to load... ;)

At the bottom on witch page?

From the front page click on the support button. Go to software updates. Select VuePro. You should get the latest beta page. click on the 'click here to get the update' button. On that page, you should have the 4.54 beta files at the top, and the 4.53 official release at below that. Below that 'Latest Official Update' window is a hotlink that says 'click here to show previous updates'. This takes you to the archive page where all the updates dwell, including the stand alone Cow file. And yeah, its easy to miss.... ;)

Ahhh... I did actually look at the bottom as you said and found nothing there. Found it this time and I would rather say that it is in the middle of the page! ;) Well, found it this time. Thank's for helping.
