I wasn't going to post another wip, but I was getting bored with trying (and failing) to get the lighting right.

Just a couple of things to do now. All the major parts done and/or waiting to be imported to this file.

Thanks for looking!

Looking good, can't wait for you to get the rest added on and the lighting can be such a b*tch, can't it. :-D

Looks like a lot of work! Looks Great can't wait to see the finished image

Whoa. THIS needs to be made into a thank you card and sent over to DAZ and Corel. This is an amazing display of modelling. When you finish the thing, I'd like to hear the filesize.

Well, even a Wingsian heretic like myself would have to admit that your Crystal Palace version is coming along most impressively!

WOAH! go bryster!! You make me want to do another HUGE modelling job again :) Too bad my harddisk is full and my laptop is broken... but when I get my dvd burner that should be fixed soon, then I can finally back-up some data and get it off my harddrive. How many objects is this so far? and how big is the filesize? My record on data on one project is probably somewhere around 3 or 4 gbyte and my record on objects around about 26K. I'm interested to see if this project will break my personal record... lol

Wingsian heretic? Anyway, I'd love to do a HUGE modelling job one day. But I'll probably end up sleeping.

So far it's about 15,000 objects. 194mb. Here's another pov. I have some problems with the trusses but nothing that can't be sorted out. Between each pane of glass in the arch-roof there is a thin strip of leading. This gives the black lines which helps show off the panes. I've removed the sideglass panals for the time being as the whole thing was becoming unwieldy. The assemblies at the top of the support pillars will not be gold and I'll need to add more supports to the railings. I'm not happy with the decking ATM but I have already got a solution for that. Thanks for looking.

Seeing this I think I'm gunna do a scene on the Gromek homeworld and fleet after all! :D That's gunna be one killer scene B-D I can just see it :D a 10K render of the gromek planet, the gromek spacestation in orbit with a division of gromek defenders around it, some carriers with fighters, an astroid belt with miners harvesting, some cool nebula's in the background, a convoy returning from travel :D Thanx Bryster! you just inspired me to undertake the biggest bryce project in history! ooh man I can't wait to build that! I'm talking about hundreds of spaceships, a hundered thousands objects if not hundreds of thousands, massive ammounts of data, combined bryce and mojoworld renders, and a huge big print of it on my wall when I'm done! Dude I owe you one!
