I was able to get rid of the "ghost man" and get correct image instead. :o)
But my MAT material file will not "produce" a load symbol. I only have a minus. (See image)
What do I do wrong?

Have you checked if the name of the MAT pose file and the image file are spelled exactly the same, and when so, if they are in the same folder?

I have also checked in preferences that it is set for P5.
I'll try again today with another object.

Well I've been able to make it work with a character (was using a prop earlier). But the prop will still not do it.
Anyhow, I'm heading over to the MPE home page. Saw some more tuts over there. :o)

You can't use MAT poses on a prop. Only in the case where it's parented to a character. A character must be in the scene for a MAT pose to work. So that's why it won't work. You could, if you have Pro Pack or P5, take it into the Setup Room and make it a character (a character with only 1 body part, but still a character). The little plus sign will appear when something is loaded that you can use the things in the palette for, again that's why it won't appear as long as you have only a prop loaded.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

I just did that and now it works! :o) Thank you!

Someone just posted a "minimal character" in freestuff.
