I (apparently) make myself belive I backup everything and always. I have "billions" of backups on CDs and DVDs nicely signed with dates and all.

So what happens now when I need this script specially made by you Ockham? I can't find it on any of my backups! Ok, I've had a few puter crashes since then too, but still!

And I even figured out some of it myself. How will I ever get the brain back into that state again?

Is there a slight chance you still have it somewhere laying around in a closet or so....?

I have the same problem with overenthusiastic housekeeping. In fact, I thought this one was completely lost, until I realized its title is CamCircle, not CircleCam! Finally found it, though. As usual, take the attached text and rename it from .TXT to .PY before using. Incidentally, I like your textual illustration of headbanging!

Um,.... What does this do? Make the camera circle an object?

ockham posted Tue, 21 September 2004 at 5:46 PM

If I remember right, it turns the camera around at fixed intervals, one frame for each interval. I have no idea why it was wanted.... I just writes 'em, guvnor!

:oD
Thanks a million ockham!

..What does this do? ..<<

I need it for my game characters movement. 32 directions almost top down view (a bit like zelda angle). It saves lots of time.

For example, in one part of my game project I have:
10 characters with 4 basic animations (walk, trot, canter, jump)
Each animation have 8 frames
Each frame is rendered in 32 directions
That makes alot of renderings which the CamCircle takes care of! :o) Thanks to ockham. sends hugs to ockham
