in this months issue of 3dworld magazine, amapi 6 (full version) is included on the content cd. Not only that, but my tutorials for version 6 (which are on the old amapi tutorial cd found here in the store) are also on the cd. Additionally, I wrote a 4 page tutorial that is in the magazine. :) The freebee amapi 6 can be used to create an upgrade path to amapi pro..and save ya some money. something you may wish to check out. :) BT

cool! I'm still using version 5.15 so version 6 would be a free upgrade for me! :D

The free Amapi 6 requires online registration to function. Nothing unfair about that - I mention it as a heads-up because it might be a problem for some.

many of my poser models are from amapi6. and a "leg up" here is that my tutorials on the disk include full tool explanations so you can really learn how to use it quickly (without a manual) :)

hmmnnn...I got Amapi5 bundled with Carrara Studio2.1, but somehow I couldn't find any tutorials simple enough for my limited brainpower and attention-span :o(

Mind if I ask where you all live...I just went to b&N here in Albq. and they only had Issue #56 with ArtLanti 4.0 included. (Not that theres anything wrong with that either) Just kind of wondering when the mag comes out here and nobody at B&N could tell me...Best 3d mag on the market...Thanks for everything...

When I seen Amapi on the CD cover you were the first person I thought of BT. I'll have to check out your tuts. ellocolobo I live in the USA, but I subscribe to 3D World, so I get it usually 3 to 5 days after it released, B&N probably won't have it for a few weeks.

Usually B&N gets it 6 weeks after the UK gets it (grumble)..;) or just long enough to get a yawn when you finally do get it loaded (never did get that Vue 4 upgrade..;)
