in this months issue of 3dworld magazine, amapi 6 (full version) is included on the content cd. Not only that, but my tutorials for version 6 (which are on the old amapi tutorial cd found here in the store) are also on the cd. Additionally, I wrote a 4 page tutorial that is in the magazine. :) The freebee amapi 6 can be used to create an upgrade path to amapi pro..and save ya some money. something you may wish to check out. :) BT

Is it true that Amapi 6 can do morphs for Poser, while other versions of Amapi cannot?

this is a really hard question to answer
in general, the answer is yes.
However, a complex body part (like the head which has multiple meshes for one part) will not work when morphed with amapi6. But if you were to alter a simple body part (like the shoulder) where only one mesh makes up the body part, then it will accept the morph.
amapi 5 and previous does not read obj
amapi 7 will not make a morph for any kind of mesh..it always changes the vertex order.

changes the vertex order???..is that a bug or is there some logical reason?
