I have seen a "Color_texture" node shown in many tutorials and also on Poser5's manual (picture on page 308). My question is: how I create one? In the "create node" pull down menu I see the closest thing is "Color_Map" but I cannot find the name "color_texture" anywhere... sorry for the dumb question, but these are my first steps in the material room...

Color_Map and color_texture are the same. What P5 does for P4 materials is that it simply renames the texture nodes to Color_Map and Bump_Map to make it easier to see which is which.

Hi mask2, A "Color Texture" node is created by using the Face Room. It is the same as a "2D Textures" ---> "Image Map" node except that it is generated by the Face Room. If you are interested ... Here is a tutorial for [ The P5 Material Room.](http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=1663563) ... and ... Thanks guys! (I keep thinking Curious Labs should reprint Poser's manual based on threads from this forum...) ;)
