Wow, this is a absolut stupit problem. I put in the background a photo (jpg or Tif) start the firefly render engine. And see all, but the real pic is lost. I can see a complet white picture without my poses or i see the poses without my background. Please what is my mistake. I hope you can help me Regards Michael

In the render options, on the right hand side of the image output settings select render over background picture. Also, if you don`t have service release 4 for poser 5 you should download it now and install it before continuing with using poser 5.

Hi Xantor, thanks for your Message. I work with Poser 5.0 Servicerelease 4. (German) I activate the Button "Hintergrundbild" i think its the same as you meen. Its posibilty that the Problem is the picture ?. Its a normal tif with 72 dpi. Thanks Michael

I don`t know about the german copy but some people here are german and should be able to help. Tif files should work as a background. You could try going into the material room and select the background then delete all the nodes there, then try loading your picture.

When saving in tif format, you have an alpha channel, not a background. If you need tiff format, load a simple square into the scene, scale and size it , and load the background image onto it.
