Plymouth Rock, 1620. This holiday greeting (and thoughtful commentary) from Massachusetts is extended to all of the descendents of immigrants, refugees, and displaced peoples who call ourselves Americans. May the spirit of freedom and hope that inspired our first generations continue to live in our children. To my overseas colleagues I offer my hope that, like online forums such as this, a world in which ethnic, sexual, and social identities are essentially unimportant will become a reality in our lifetimes. Thanks to Traveler for the morphing pillow which served as a cloak. Peter (Dr Zik)
Thank you. It's good to see someone who actually apreciate what Thanksgiving was originally created for. As you, I also hope my lifetimes like online forums such as this, a world in which ethnic, sexual, and social identities are essentially unimportant. Have a blessed Thanksgiving. Frost
