Hey, will the low res versions of V3/M3 take the textures that are being offered for free by the talented artists of the 3D community?

Yes, I have tested several (free and paid) textures on low-res V3 and they work fine!

No reason why they shouldn't, same with clothing. Morphs might or might not work, though. I've a lo-res Mike 1 and everything for the regular Mike 1 & 2 works just fine on him, except for some face/body morphs.

The regular V3/M3 injection morphs won't work with the low-res versions, but the low-res versions do come with a large number of morphs built in.

Then I guess it's a safe bet some character packs either won't work at all or won't work properly with them. Wonder if anybody'll have new ones out just for the lo-res figures?

Yes, that's an interesting point. I suppose what you could do would be to copy the dial settings from the Pose file to the RR version. Perhaps some merchants will provide a RR version of their characters for people who already have the pack...

The dial setting poses should work, but you might have to click through rather a lot of "Can't find xxx.pz3" messages en route. Mat Pose Edit might serve to turn an injection pose into a regular Mor pose.

Have to try that & see how it works. I've a couple of M2 characters I'm thinking of trying with M3, guess I'm in for a lot of dial tweaking -- and cussing too ;-)
