I didn't know that one. If there are a lot of nodes it's probably quicker to right click select all and then either press the delete key or right click delete (I've noticed sometimes pressing the delete key doesn't do anything even when you have nodes selected).

what I did was create a !white material, just your standard main material node and nothing else with ecvery thing at the default, then if I want to clear the nodes then I just have to apply the white material preset. But that is a good tip, I am constantly playaing and deleting and adding to the main material.

I usually select the nodes to delete with the standard Windows procedure : ctrl-click selects each node you want, then hit "del" key.

There's also a little arrow at the upper right of the Material Room preview window that opens a dialogue box with the "Select All" option, afterwhich just hit the delete key to clear all nodes.
