Hi, I've tried to find if this was addressed earlier and apologize if it was... Does Vue5 support complex volumetric materials? This has been my one issue with Vue4; that volumetric materials are only one color. Has this been changed?

I'm not sure I understand why you think they're only one color, it was my understanding that you can make any material volumetric, not just a solid color material. Not just in Vue 5 but in Vue 4 as well.

In Vue4, when a material is designated as volumetric, the color properties change to allow a single color. Unless I've truly missed something, all of the complexity is within the density settings. But the color of the object stays the same all the way through. Have I truly missed something in Vue4? If so, I'll have to check when I get home and apologize for my ignorance. If I'm right, has this changed in Vue5? Can the color of the object be made as complex as the density?

In other words can I do this...

The volumetric blue plasma in this image is something I have been trying to duplicate without success in Vue for two years. Can this be done in either Vue4 of 5? If in 4, please tell me how. If in 5, please show me that I might start saving for the upgrade now.

I may be wrong too, I need to play around with it and see what I can come up with in both 4 and 5, if you can wait until next monday I've got Sunday reserved for cleaning up and installing Vue 5 (which I've had for 3 days now and haven't touched yet, just haven't had the time) on my laptop and I'll be able to do some real tests with it.
