Hello Everybody, I just wanted to share with you some bad news about Guitta Bertaud. Not having heard from her in a while, I gave her a call only to discover that she is very ill. She has a terminal cancer, with probably only a few months more to live :-(( As most of you probably remember, Guitta was the moderator of this forum for a long time and has always been extremely kind and helpful to all Vue users. I have to admit that I was extremely impressed by her courage. She is resigned to her fate. She says she is happy to have all her family with her, but that she misses Vue! If you would like to sent her a letter or give her a call, you can reach her there: Guitta Schmit Burghild Bertaud Ch 170 Clinique Zithe Sainte The Rue Zithe, 36 2763 Luxembourg Phone: +352 4977 64170 If you would like to call her, please remember that she is in hospital in Luxemburg (GMT +1). Luxemburg is 9 hours ahead of us, so if you are on the West Coast, 8-10AM would be a good time, I guess. (that's 5-7PM in Luxemburg). Guitta told me she would be very happy to hear from all of you. May our prayers be with her. Best regards, Nicholas Phelps, president e-on software.

Walther emailed me at work today and told me about Guitta's illness...I am almost lost for words. She was so excited to be truly retiring, and looking forward to working in her garden and spending time with her family. Her time as moderator here at the Vue forum was so incredible for so many of us. What a sense of humor, amazing patience, and skill at answering just about any Vue-related question we could come up with!! She also has a charm of her very own, which we see in her gallery, and a really amazing talent that I can only aspire to. She has done so much for so many people, that's real selflessness and generosity. I will phone her, and maybe try to get up there to see her, as I'm not far from Luxemborg. I'm so sad to hear of her illness, and hope that a miracle can happen for her and her family. I know she will be truly warmed to hear from so many of us at Rendero, and that so many hopes and prayers and good wishes are going to her.

I'm really sorry to hear this :-( It was not a long time that I followed the forum here while Guitta still was moderator, but I really valued her great contributions. It was indeed one of her pictures that made me breathlessly say "If this can be done with Vue than that's exactly the software I must have!" when I came across her website. I at age 27 had stage 4 breast canser of a rare and nasty kind, it was as big as a golf ball and had spread some, I had bone marrow transplant w/my bone marrow and more stuff, this bought me 3 yrs before it showed up in my back and they gave me cemo + herceptin. The herceptin I continue to take fights new canser cells by starving them! I am now 39 and wanted to tell my story to spread hope.
