So let me get this straight. If the full body morph on the conformed character has the same name as the full body morph on the parent character, then adjusting the morph on the parent makes the same adjustment on the conformed? That's very cool. Have you tried this with local morphs? -SMT

smallspace- It doesn't seem to work with local morphs, only full body morphs. But of course any local morph can be made part of a full-body morph. I made all the local body morphs that are part of the full body morphs at the same time, I don't know if this has something to do with it or not. At one stage I tried nameing the lingerie "body" with "bra", "panty", instead of "figure 3, figure 4" and Poser got real confused. and turning the body morph dial on the lingerie made the morph on the figure work instead, but I don't see much use for that strange behavor!

Sounds extremely promising & original. I'm like to see if I can duplicate your results. Based on your short description, I'm not 100% sure about your morph naming procedure, though. Many of us would benefit from a detailed walk-through of everything you've tried using these techniques, including the ones that didn't work that well. I've found really strange effects with morphs linking up in odd & unpredictable ways myself. Thanks!

Well, lets see if I can reconstruct it: I did all the figure morphs with a couple of magnets, and I set the magnet to effect all of the body parts they had any chance of moving. At the same time the lingerie was set to conform to the figure, so I set the magnet to effect the covered parts of the lingerie, too. I then moved and scaled the magnets to make the various morphs, and I then saved a set of morphs for each body part, and each lingerie part, using the same names. Finally, when everything was working nicely, I deleted the magnets and set each morph set to 100%, and made a full body morph for that, and did the same for the lingerie, and gave them all the same name- in other words there is an "implants" morph for the body chest right & left collar, and a body morph of the same name, and matching morphs on the bra. About this time I had the bright idea to name the "body" as bra, panty, etc. instead of "Figure 3", etc, and I noticed the weirdness I mentioned above. A little later most of the morphs got broken, too, but I got everything going again with a backup copy of the various objects - and I don't think any of this later stuff had anything to do with the "conforming" morphs.

Sometimes cool things happen when you're not trying too hard ;-) -JH.

Jim: Thanks. Something new to play around with! And, the lingerie looks terrific!
