was just wondering if its possible to take a backup of poser so i don't have to reisntall after a total 'cleanup on my pc??

Under Copyright law you are allow one backup for Archival Purposes.

If you are referring to your poser installation, yes. You will want to archive your Geometries, Libraries, and Textures folders. Copy them over the new installation and you'll have all your files.
