I posted a couple of messages about how Poser kept crashing on my PC... I think it's fixed... just been running P4 for well over an hour... rock solid and renders in seconds... Following suggestions from this forum the shop changed my graphic card and mother board, put 1G memory in, put a new, huge PSU in, put bigger and better fans in... we also reinstalled XP... but guess what we think the problem was...?? The drivers and software for my Soundblaster live platinum sound card were freaking things out!... the PC now runs like a dream and seems more 'solid' with a reassuring hum from the fans... I'm now looking forward to getting back to doing some serious rendering... I thank everybody who offered hints and suggestions.... Bob
