Hello Geniuses and Artists! I am curious if the following is possible - I am trying to create a very long tentacle for a giant squid. I thought about how to do it, and thought maybe I could take the Poser snake, chop of the head and tail, and duplicate it several times and join them together, and finish it with the proper texture. Is this possible? I was hoping to use about 20 snakes to make a 26-foot long tentacle, so it would have many bends as to move realistically. Once they were joined together, I would export the obj and UV map it to make the texture. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Well, loading 20 snakes into Poser may bring your comp to a halt ;-) I think there's a poseable tentacle at the PropsGuild site: http://www.gwz.org/propsguild/JAFO posted Sat, 02 December 2000 at 2:04 AM
Bushi's incredible worm may be another choice for this task it can be bent or morphed into just about any shape you can think of
Y'all have a great day.

You could also just scale the snake very large in proportion to the head part, and get every thing scaled according to your surroundings, ie if you have it near a ship, make the ship small or whatever. Good luck.
