Yep this works for me, nice shutter speed and good compo with adequate lighting. As I know you like to get critique I would add, and this is my opinion and not everyone will agree with me on this. It may be worth considering flipping the image horizontally, thus making the diagonal run form left to right, this comment coming from the fact that we (in most cases) read from left to right and by habit our eye is drawn to the left of an image automatically, the diagonal composition then draws your eye through the frame. Maybe I have opened a can of worms but it is just my personal perception and observation. As for the lighting, these scenes need to be shot in low light so colour saturation is compromised to obtain the long exposure. The lighting in this is nice and even. LP

remember to post your 150X150 max sized thumb :] works for me
LP has a good suggestion on flipping the image for a stronger composition... not sure on the colors, does it seem a little too green to you or was that your intention?
just asking honestly :]

Thanks guys! LP, I'm a bit confused by your suggestion of flipping the image horizontally, but I will give it a try and see what it looks like!!!! Maybe it will give it that "oomph" that I'm looking for!!! Cindy, Thanks for asking about the colors...yes...it IS VERY green but i did that on purpose. I added green lighting and liked the effect. You think it might be a bit much? Thanks SO much for your comments and suggestions, guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tv Flipping the image so it looks like a mirror image, in PSP it is image menu / mirror or (ctl + m) dont know the PS equivalent. This can be done with any image (except those with writing somewhere in the image)to change the direction of the compo. Say to put the main subject in the left instead of right. Or in this case to change the direction that the tree is laying. This can sometimes give the image a stronger composition LP

thanks LP!!!! i will work on it and see what happens. not sure if i will get it done before end of month...we'll see what happens today. maybe!!! cindy, thanks! i like it, but it seems like my tastes are much different than many other people's. While i love what i see in nature, I also have a big imagination i like to change things the way i see them in my mind. it pleases me to to express myself like this. i don't necessarily expect others to like it, but it's nice when someone does! :) thanks!
