Boy it is just old tricks you could do with any Carrara version. He tried to tempt us to buying CS4 by demostrating us with a rope that looked like if it had soft body dynamics. Trick or Treat

Very nice one, Brian. I don't know if you're open for requests, but I would like to see a demo using the new motion blur on a scene with object moving very fast and overlapping each other (real motion blur deformation). Thanks Brian.

Sure Claudiomil. I can do that for you.

For some reason that link opens up the raw file in the browser window, on Safari Mac. Usually this has to do with a setting on the web server for MIME types, but I guess it could be a glitch in Safari too. It does work if you right click and choose "save Linked file as..." and save the file to view n Quicktime... Paul

Great animation Brian. Did you use deformers for the ball and the water?

claudiomil posted Thu, 28 October 2004 at 11:01 PM

Thanks Brian. I can't wait to see your next animation.

Yes vinividivinci, this is easily all done in CS3 and before. Just showing that you don't need fancy dynamics to get nice results. I'm slightly reworking this animation for better results.
