This is my first attempt at doing a scifi type pic. I think it is missing something, so I thought I would pick your brain and see what ideas you could come up with that I should add. It's weird it seems busy and empty at the same time...anyway thanks for any help you can give.

OOOHHHH Blade Runner's child! Complez modelling, some great stuff here. If I may add my 2 cents the image is a bit flat, try to add a blue light coming from right and a yellow light from left (or viceversa). It should add some highlight and shadow. cheers!

That's really cool. Love scifi cities. Coupla things - is that meant to be an ad on the side of the car? Or is it a screen to let the person inside look out, with greatly magnified image? If an ad, then some writing across the face would help clarify that.
Second, that car seems to be the only one that has a light coming from the front, which makes it seem like the driver has seen something interesting that merits investigation, but there's nothing happening in front. That bridge thing looks a natural as the location for some action - cops stalking a runaway killer with hostage, fight going on, someone hanging by fingertips blah blah blah

Thanks pog, actually the face on the blimp is a vid monitor, I just still have to add the scan lines. I'm actually concerned that the lights shining down from the blimp in front of that building is causing a tangent. Which is throwing the whole composition off.

If i could point something out that was an idea given to ma sometime back with a WIP my girlfriend did. The cars are all to level. What i mean is none look like they are turning. Try tilting one or two on an angle so it looks like they are. just my peneths worth

I like the colour palette you've chosen. So, I'm a little confused about the green structure in the background. Perhaps a trifle bit of haze or something in the background will give it more volume and focus on the foreground. Right now my eye is a little lost into the bkgd. But I really had to seach for something to comment on. It looks too polished already. Post it up!

Nice start so far... I would tend to agree with LunarTick on tilting one or 2 of the cars. Just to show some motion in the image. Keep on rendering. 8)
