If you recently purchased Poser 5 (within the past 30 days), I am interested in knowing what version is currently being shipped.

Here's how to find the version number:

When you have Poser running ...
(at the top of the screen)

[menu] "Help" ---> "About Poser"
... will show you the Poser 5 "splash" screen.

Right underneath the large "Poser5" and on the left, you will see your serial number.

**UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you ever give your serial number to anyone
** (except maybe Curious Labs if they ask for it).

**NEVER POST your serial number on the web or email it to anyone.

I DO NOT want to know your serial number.

Having said that, underneath the large "Poser5" and on the right, you will see your name ... and underneath your name is the version of Poser 5 that you have installed.

It will look something like this ...... v5.0.4.xxx

Dr. Geep would like to know what version you have and (if you don't mind) where it was purchased. I do not care about the price.

Something to bear in mind, Doc ... the Mac and PC builds might have different version numbers.

Mine was purchased on line and the version is v.5.0.4.325. It was purchased a little over a month ago. For a PC.

My version of P5 is: v5.0.4.325 Perchased here at Renderosity :-) May 10th/2004

Also 5.0.4.325, purchased from Curious Labs' site, as a download. It was $120 for me, since I upgraded from Poser 3. I don't remember if I downloaded an updater yet. Better go see, it might fix the weird problems I'm having (mentioned in my topic farher down the list)

You needn't bother, SnowFox102. v5.0.4.325 is the current build for the PC, as updated by Service Release 4.1.

for Mac OSX version 5.0.4 ..335

You could view your poser.exe file in File Manager. Right-click, choose Properties, and click the Version tab to get the version number.

Bought onloine from curios labs 0n 15/10/04 shows version number V5.04.332

Bobbie, thanks for that cool tip. Mine came directly from Curious Labs about two months ago, PC version 5.0.4.325.

Bought mine just a couple days ago...online upgrade/download from P4. PC V5.04.332
