Is there is a particle generator for poser 4 or 5? And how can i edit the poser 4 male texture in such a way that the head (and only the hear without the neck) is a different color from the rest of the body. PS. Anybody seen military equipment and clothes for poser figures around

PoserWorld (subscription site) has military clothing. Daz has some too. There are various weapons in the MP here. As for a particle generator, the thing that comes closest is MetaForm from WeirdJuice. Python based so it only works in Propack and P5.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Yes, there's a particle generator for Poser called Metaform. Never used it, so I can't testify to it's effectiveness or usability. You can get it at Daz's store.Tools : 3dsmax 2015, Daz Studio 4.6, PoserPro 2012, Blender
v2.74
System: Pentium QuadCore i7, under Win 8, GeForce GTX 780 / 2GB
GPU.

Also.. you can change the head colour by selecting the head group with the grouping tool and assign another material to it.

Depending on your "particle needs", you might also take a look at my free Weather and Swarm scripts. http://ockhamsbungalow.com/PPP/Swarm4.zip http://ockhamsbungalow.com/PPP/Weather.zip

I am only scratching the surface of Metaform. It has many features and capabilities. The metablob features are similar to Organica and work well. I have experimented with the particles once, so far, and was able to add a directional emitter and determine what the various dials adjusted. Weirdjuice has added some new tutorials which are exactly what I asked them for. The initial tutorials were too broad for me to make any progress with. They were Step 2 with no Step 1. I gave them feedback and they responded. A Metaform upgrade is also imminent. Metaform turns Poser5 and PPP into an organic modeller. It all happens inside the Poser workspace. There are many areas I have not tried yet. Metaform has been very stable. The product delivers what is promised. The support is moving in the right direction. I am satisfied with it and look forward to tapping this new addition to Poser.

Glad to know that Metaform still lives! I'll have to check into the new tutes, as it was really giving me fits (not bugs, just difficulties). And yes, it has been very stable. Combine the metablobs with the P5 shaders and you can have some =real= fun.....
