I downloaded the P4 Woman with Genitals here but I can't find any texture maps to work off of, at Renderotica there were three maps but they were for langerie in three different colors, found nothing at the other likly sites. Anyone know where I can find them? Isn't this figure in common usage? Thanks.

Here's Yarp's Eve 3 and also here is the link to Morph World, where they probably have what you are looking for. The technicalities between Eve 2, Eve 3 and WWG still a confusing... http://morphs.bbay.com/html/base_morphs.htmlmisha posted Wed, 06 December 2000 at 6:32 PM
Thank you, I'll check. I didn't know there was any relationship between Posette WWG and Eve... I'll get a template off WWG from UVMapper and see if it looks like the Eve textures at MorphWorld2. And thanks for including the Eve link... I'll check it out right now. I thought the WWG I got here was P4 but when I searched in Free Stuff here only a P3 WWG came up so maybe I'm mistaken.

Actually Misha, I really don't know if there IS a relationship. Frankly it would be nice if someone did a tutorial or even a SCORECARD to help all of us know the differences between Posette, WWG, NYW, Eve 2, Eve 3, P4-Vicky, Millie-Vicky, Super-Vicky, etc. I don't blame a LOT of people for being confused about all these variations...

Well, I can't get Eve v.3 to work right with the textures at Morphworld so later I'll try downloading Eve V3.2. I still have not figured out the difference between Eve and Evolution figures and I can't get ANY texture to work with P4 WWG which I also got at MorphWorld. The P4 WWG and Eve have the realism I need and the Eve has terrific joints but I can't figure out the texture map situation at all!

The easiest way is to open the obj file in UVMapper and look at the template. If it matches the texture in question, then it should work - provided the materials are assigned correctly. You do not need to save the template and you do not want to alter the model - just look. The area to check is the hip. Because of the merged prop , the mapping was altered. Most of us do not have "Flesh" or "Texture Weapons" so once the unfolding feature is lost we can not get it back. The whole point is to get the hip back to the Posette location so that P4 textures will work. The location and mapping of the one or two additional materials will vary. I have not looked myself, but I hope the latest version places the additional materials on their own layer, so as not to interfere with existing materials. If this is the case, a straight template will look confusing because of the overlapping layers. This is certainly the case with Victoria.

Jaager- you obviously know a LOT about this, but I think that a LOT of this still goes "over the heads" of many non-technical people. For one thing, the texmaps that have obvious differences to you are not always clear to other people. And I'm NOT criticising what YOU are doing, which is very fine work. What I think would be really helpful is if Morph World or somebody could create a chart that everyone in the Poser Community could consult. Talk about a GREAT web-traffic and Banner-Ad concept- think of all the people who would visit this page, or chart, that would help them decide what type of Morph, Texmap or Poser variation they might. Believe me, I think a LOT of people are confused about all of this stuff and a chart or page like this would be heavily consulted by EVERYONE. Someone needs to do it.

I just re-downloaded P4wwg and the vagina material of the texture is upsidedown relative any textures I've found but this download encluded a starter texture so I should be set. As I right I am downloading Eve3.2 which should also come with a starter texture... meanwhile I looked at the three prior versions of Eve I have in geometries folder map to some textures I did pick up but for some reason was never able to make work. Well, now I'll load up the new P4wwg and Eve3.2 and see how they look. Ang Jaager, thank you for all the work you've done and given away.

Fox - yes it is pretty technical, but attention to detail is pretty much a requirement with this Poser business. There is often a choice to be made in either giving a pat answer, or trying to show how to figure it out for yourself. I often try for the latter, even if I am usually unsucessful. While it is not a chart, I posted a short description of the figure evolution over on the forum at R-otica this afternoon. This may help explain things. I do not want to Spam all of the forums.

Now days, Eve 4 by Traveler is the best of all Eves. It comes replete with a whole slew of body morphs, and has none of the texturing problems that were listed above. Eve 4 can be downloaded from momcat's site at www.Purrr3d.com.dphoadley posted Wed, 10 May 2006 at 7:41 AM

Arduino at 3dpmr.com has a P4WWG v2 which may be different from the one you have. A lineup would be nice since it did get rather confusing with more Eves than Rocky sequels. If Zygote jhad just put some damn privates on Posette to begin with...ah well, if pubes could fly.
