http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/ I'll bet we see some poser figures pop up in this! You could probably even use poser to do the cut scenes.

Yes - I can't remember the titles offhand, but there are three or four games that use AGS with Poser figures - for game sprites and cut scenes.
The program's easy to use for the basics of game programming, but the learning-curve gets a bit steep once you start building in more complex interactions.
The games themselves vary from wonderfully (and often deliberately) amateur to near-commercial quality.

I've just searched and found out that ratracer, the creator of 'The Uncertainty Machine', reckoned to be one of the best AGS games so far made, is a member and merchant here.
