Will metamesh and pointalizer work with Carrara 4 pro and are these plug-ins really any good. I noticed the new one being worked on called particloid. Can anybody recommend these and is the download procedure difficult. I've already got my copy of Carrara 4 pro and it's really cool so far. I just wished they would work on the particle emitter. Maybe in the next one!!!!

From what I've heard the particle emitter is one of the things on the agenda for version 5, though there hasn't been any official announcement of anything. I've used Potentializer, and I find it great for bending and warping effects, and for "imprinting" snow after footsteps. Check out this thread at 3dxtract: http://www.3dxtract.com/cfforum/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=17&Topic=525 Show the hehe potential of potentializer!:) The plugins will be updated for CS4 for free, not sure when though, but akuro did say that they would be. I don't think the CS4 SDK has been officially released, so could be a week or two. Brian

It should be very easy for him to make softbody dynamics with pointalizer!!
