Aye, a while back I did some pics demonstrating Bryce's internal lens flare abialities, based off of a boolean lens. This time, I'm just showing how the lens can warp a scene. Great for fish-eye shots or weird shots where the camera needs some curvature around the edges of the image. Check it out...

Here's my default scene setup, rendered through a lens with only a glass material applied. Standard glass mat, the only thing I'm tweaking here is the Refraction Index. Here's the scene at 0.

Same scene, lens material's Refraction Index set to 133 (water)...

And now at 255...

And, finally, at 300. Just a silly technique, perhaps it will come in handy for someone. I think the image at 255 is the coolest, but again, it's just another trick...

Incredible timing, cosmic forces sometimes are hilarious. I used the some trik for my latest render, just published now! With a refraction index of 300. What you have to tweak is also the focal length of the camera. There are some intersting effects to do. /matteo
