Hello
Im putting things back together here in San Diego after our fire, here in Scrips Ranch.
What Ive run into is this; Im unable to install my copy of CORELs BRYCE 5 upgrade. The CD cover reads: To confirm your upgrade eligibility, you will be required to enter a serial number for the previous copy of Bryce before you install the program.
Ive installed my copy of MetaCreations Bryce 4 with its serial number, (*****************). When I attempt to install the Bryce 5 upgrade, using the above serial number, the installer declares; The serial number is invalid. I dont have a serial number for the COREL version as its an upgrade.
Have anything to suggest?
P.S. Im using a Dell XB 800r 800Mhz with 512MB of RAM. The OS is XP Pro/SP2.

I had exactly the same problem !!!!!! :D
You gonna have to call Corel, they are only ones that can help you, they gave me full product serial number, and it worked like a charm.
Good luck! :)
(hope it's not still non-1-800 number, it was when I called two years ago !)

I think DAZ inheirited the database from COrel, you might try them first and save a few dimes.

Yep, ppl at DAZ have it, Corel did not, cuz I registered B4 to MetaCreation via regular mail, and they never got it, or they lost it, so when Corel inhereted database, I was not in there !!! :)

Daz is promising to have Bryce 5.5 out by December. We shall see though.

Some of the computer magazines are going to be offering Bryce 4 for FREE in upcoming issues.
