I like to give credit where credit is due when I upload an image. The problem is, I usually use so many products from so many merchants that the ten Product Credit entries on the upload page can't cover them all. And, just like many artists here, I also use products purchased from other sites, such as RDNA and DAZ. At the moment there is no easy way to credit the merchants at the other main 3D sites... I also use lots of freestuff, and the only way to credit the makers is in the notes. So I'd love to see three changes in the upload page: 1) more entries for product credits (20 entries instead of 10 would be great); 2) ability to enter product credtis for items purchased at other sites, linking to the site where the item was purchased; 3) product credits for freestuff, linking to a search result for their freestuff contributions. Product credits for freestuff is the feature that I'd love to see most. The freestuff providers are the ones that keep us all going and I strongly feel they deserve credit for it! I think the easiest way to implement wish #2 is to have sites like RDNA, DAZ, PoserPros show up as merchants. The freestuff credits could be implemented in a similar way to the Product Credits dropdowns. Is this a useful idea? What do you think?
