As For my own news:
After my intense efforts in creating my photo real Original Flying Ducks, and my Morph/Map sets of: Foxes, Wolves/Wild dogs, Deer Family, Bears, etc. in the last months, I have taken some time off to enjoy the products of all the other creative folks in our community. I am allowing time for my "work muse" to re-charge and then I will be back at work on both some original photo real models as well as some more morph/map sets. I will announce what those projects are just as soon as they are in presentable form! :)

pokeydots wrote: Lyne, will you ever have downloadable versions available? I too pondered the same question until I read the perspective on Lyne's site. Looks like the the answer is no. Thats unfortunate because broadband use is becoming increasingly common, atleast in the US. I admire your work Lyne and I would definitely purchase a few items if that service were to be offered. But for now I prefer "instant gratification".

TamiL: About a year ago, I was saying exactly the same thing you are :) Why not give it a try? While you're waiting the couple of days it takes for Lyne's stuff to arrive, you can always "instant gratify" here, RDNA or over at ODDITY!! :)

Lyne is so fast in mailing out her orders, That I was so surprize to get mine less than a week. The last order I did came in 3 days.

I second all that_ Lynne is FAST. Even in the UK I get mine in 3 days. It's great to have your own personalised back up disk. And, to be honest, i'm also in to instant gratification_ but more often than not_ even tho I've purchased and downloaded_ it takes me a day or two to find the time to play! Give it a go TamiL_ you won't regret it_ excellent models and the most georgeous texture sets for 'elswhere' models! I tend to shop at VIP in clumps and I think i can justify a block order! I was looking at those lovely foxes and buck textures the other day!_ but hope you've not dropped your prices too low so i don't qualify for the free postage!

I myself know how fast she ships her products, I have purchased a few things from her, and they arrived very quickly. I really was just curious as to downloadable versions :)

Thank you all so much for your kind words! We do ship very fast... not like most retail stores on line (I shop on line a lot - where I have to wait 2 weeks to get music CD's etc.) We pride ourselves on fast shipping to help with the need for "instant gratification" - which I admit to having too! So as a user I understand the feelings... but as a store, we have so many reasons to sell as we are selling - with shipping. It helps keep our store economically feasible. I have also bought sooo much at once, from all the on line stores that it takes me forever to get it installed as I like, and to get to playing !! Noggin, thank you too... plopped some of your items here in my wish list and shopped at DAZ too... have to space things out so my "on line card" gets to breath! ;)

Well I took the plunge and ordered from Lyne. This morning in the mail was a beautifully cased CD. Only two days to ship. After playing with my new toys I wished to let everyone know how absolutely fabulous these products are. Lyne, the deer family and the wolves are wonderful! I would not hesitate to order from you in the future. And thanks to all those in this thread who have persuaded me to order these! I do not regret it!

Haha! Good_ another convert! Well done TamiL_glad you liked them. Even tho' Lyne and I cover the same niche, I have absolutely no problem recommending her products, I have loads of them myself and know they are superb! I think we both love our subject matter and the challenge it poses [:-/ sorry] and love to see the range of possible subjects in 'poserdom' widen. Keep up the superb work Lyne. Nigel

Excellent TamiL! Always good to see someone else take a chance and be pleased with the product. I knew you'd be pleased.....Lyne's critters are great. I concur with Nigel.....Lyne has a passion for her work :) I'm only sorry I waited so long to try them. I'm giving Steve's trees a go this time and maybe a couple of Lyne's mini paks :) I'm getting Vue5 Lyne....right around Christmas...It will be interesting to see the results there! Steve says his trees look even better in Vue 5 :)
TamiL posted Sat, 20 November 2004 at 5:58 PM
Well sandoppe, I'm glad I did. And about the trees, I have them on my list of next buys also!! I think they will look great in Vue5 also........gave up on Bryce. I like Vue much better now.
sandoppe posted Sat, 20 November 2004 at 9:56 PM
I like Bryce 5 better than 4 and got it dirt cheap when DAZ took it over. However, you can't beat Vue and Vue5 is just amazing! If you haven't seen some of the results it's new rendering engine and HRDI can achieve, you should visit the Vue forum. Terrific stuff!
