I just went to his site and it's closed. Does anyone know what happened or if he will be back? I loved his stuff as well as most of the Japanese modelers.

Taruru died a while back, I'm sorry to say. Glad to see that someone has put up a mirror site, it would be a shame to lose his work.

WOW! That's a shame. ;_; I had no idea. That's really sad. I really liked his stuff. The mortality rate probably is high here cuz there are a lot of Geezers in this hobby. :D (no offence meant to anyone.) I'm constantly shocked when I see the pics of people from the forum. :) At 32 I feel positively youthful. :)

Thanks for the info about the mirror site. There's a lot of his props which aren't there, but the characters and clothes are covered fairly well.

For those of us who do have some of the late and greatly missed Taruru's freebies which are not at the mirror - would it be ethical to offer them for inclusion?
