Hi all! Just a reminder that the Tweak Fest will close Saturday at Midnight Renderosity time. Why not give it a try? :D
Fire up Apophysis, go into the 'options' dialog and check only the 'waves' variation. Run a random batch, pick yourself a good starting point, and tweak those transforms (the limit in this Challenge is 5-7 transforms)!
Remember to submit your image to the Challenge page (link above) and send the parameter text to DreamWarrior via e-mail for verification.

okay, don't laugh but when i do that i only get three triangles or two, i know you can add triangles but the effect is not good, how do you get it to start off with five or more triangles ?

sammi, in "options" go to the "random" tab. You'll see the first box there says "number of transforms" and you have a minimum and a maximum. In this month's challenge you need from 5 to 7, so you can enter "5" for the minimum and "7" for the maximum. If you needed exactly 3, for example, you would enter "3" at both fields and your random batch will always create flames with 3 transforms (triangles). Hope this helps. Barbara

ah, thanks barbara, i had seen that but it didn't occur to me that transforms mean triangles (yes i know that was fairly thick of me considering nick called them transforms but nevermind that :) i'll try it out now, thanks a lot :)
