I started making simple towers and small keeps in Rhino, mostly to upload as free stuff to anyone who might need them. The poly counts are too high right now, but here's a quickie of the smallest, simplest 4-story tower I built. Is there a want or need for stuff like this? Let me know what you think...

shadowdragon, someone will always want/need something like that. Nice looking tower you have done, leaves the mind working on textures for it ;)

I like your windows theme, where'd you get it, and do you need StyleXP or a similar program to run it? The tower is awesome, it looks kind of like a futuristic Oriental watchtower or something.

Towers and keeps are always welcome! Ditto on the theme.

It's the Dragon's Lair theme for Window Blinds. Object Desktop, by Stardock... My only problem is poly count. Currently, this tower has over a half million polygons in Bryce, making it useless... Sorry for jumping the gun, everyone.

Rhino lets you adjust the poly count if I recall. Try saving it as an .obj at a reduced poly, import it into Bryce and see what happens. I'm sure it'll work out. Polys tend to go flying when modelling in NURBS!

Aye, I'll give that a shot as soon as the first take is done rendering. It's taking ten hours or so, but I suppose it's because of the light dome and the reflections.

Not that my models are worth showing, but I usually render them with 8 radial lights (45 degrees, surrounding the object) with no textures, or with "simple and fast" ones to show individual parts. This way, I can toss my crappy models with a minimum of wasted time!

Here ya go... Just a quick model-type render, I gave up on the ten-hour one.

Cool! Nice pagoda-ish tower. Save the 10 hour renders for your final scene.
