hello, ive just installed vue5 on a new computer. ive got a particular scene made in vue4 (on my old computer). that contains an object with several stickers applied to it. when i try to ld this scene into vue5 i get the "unable to find -----bmp would you like to locate it now?" message. ok, no problem, this is happening because this vue4 scene was made on my old computer and then transfered to the new one, so it cant find were the stickers are now located. i use the browse button to go to were the stickers are now stored and click open then i get the error mess ive attached. the file itself is not corrupted, i can still load it into vue4 just fine. also ive one other scene i made in vue4 on my old computer that has a single sticker on it, and it loaded into vue5 just fine, no error mess. any ideals? thanks, tom.

A known issue of Vue 5. We expect a new update soon to sort that out - hopefully. A little trick btw. I normally re-open my Vue Pro scenes again in Pro and save the scene with bitmaps included. Especially when i want to render the scene on another computer. Vue 5 then don't have to search for bitmaps at all.

Did you try installing the 5.02 update? I never ran into this myself, but I'm using 5.02.

thanks for response. i dont have vue pro just regular vue4, do u know if it has the ability to save scene with bitmaps included? no i didnt try the 5.02 update, but ill give it a try now, is it as stable as 5.01? any other workarounds or fixes?

Sorry, but 4 d'Esprit does not have the abibility of saving scenes with the bitmaps included. A Pro feature. I have no stabibility problem with 5.02 but i fear the memory problem still is there and waits to be fixed.
