Attached Link: Here's why
Many Poser people ask on this and other forums (and to me directy as well) why they should buy Vue instead of competing products such as Bryce. So I thought of making a simple picture that could avoid me hours of always explaining the same things. It's a simple Poser character imported straight from Poser (no modification to the materials, what you see is the pure result of the import routine). I hope that this very simple, barren image shows what $249 Vue Esprit's HDRI based lighting and radiosity can do for a Poser character. Something that neither Bryce nor other products in the same price range, can do yet. Not even Poser itself. Here you see just a thumbnail, click on the URL to see the full sized picture.blaufeld posted Wed, 24 November 2004 at 10:08 AM
An image is better than 1000 words... :)

Most excellent reasoning IMO. Have you ever tried to do a HDRI in Max? It is much easier to accomplish in Vue5 for thousands of dollars less BTW. Max has been selfed for me and Vue5 has become my main artwork tool. Thanks for posting this and regards. :)
