I have spoken to Guitta again yesterday. She is totally overwhelmed by the amount of post she got in the last days. 30 cm of paper she said - more than 10 inch for the Americans. So wonderful things she got, beautifully done letters, bouquets of flowers (even from Australia), things to eat (strange bavarian stuff), printed images etc etc. She wants to answer everybody individually and say the warmest thanks for all the love she feels. But is too weak to all the writings now. Be patient, she will try all to do that later. I just wanted to let you know that the post has arrived and how welcome it was! She was in a good mood yesterday. Weak but very vivid. We talked for very long (45 minutes almost) and i updated her on the things that go on here. She is sooo curious and is so unhappy too that she can't participate right now. Today she will have the next part of a chemo therapy, which means she will be sleeping most of the next two days because it is very exhausting for her. What i want you to ask is to continue sending letters, postcards and other things. To keep her involved. What you maybe does not know is, that beside 3D and Vue her passion is cooking and eating. So maybe you send her some specialities from your region to eat. She loves that. Not sweeties, she is not too much into that but all other things that can be sent. And because she is still so weak she has to eat anyway, to be able to answer all your messages. Walther

Many thanks for keeping the community up-to-date, Walther. These are very good news and I'm hoping we will see Guitta posting over here again someday. Phil

Thanks for the update wabe.....is much appreciated and good to know that the contacts are adding some joy to her life :) Do you think maybe she would like some Minnesota Wild rice, harvested by the Native Americans that still live here? It is one of the few non-perishable items that she might enjoy. Someone would have to cook it for her, but it is quite good!

Oh, i am sure she is interested in all these things. And of course she has someone that can cook for her. We never should forget her husband who does care for her in an incredible way.

We all give Guitta many kisses and tons of love and hope we see her back soon. Tons of warm wishes and prayers for her, too. Walther, you have been so wonderful to keep in touch with her the way you do and to fill us in with what is going on. You're the best!
