Previously discussed in [ this thread](http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12413&Form.ShowMessage=2014764), I have decided to overhaul the Dystopian Waiting Shed. Many thanks to all the critical input and encouragement. :o) It will still include the previously featured mesh, but in addition it will include this new mesh above (still in modeling stages 60% complete), and it will be rebranded as the **Dystopian Way Station**. Thank you very much for viewing this thread and sharing your input. We're going ground level... stay tuned. :o) Cheers! M

Here's another view of the second version. Resisting the urge to design something with clean and simple lines, I have tried to reintroduce the strange esoteric architectural language of **Dystopia** into this mesh. Not sure what is going on with the roof and those round supports, but I am thinking along the lines of magnetism as a means to link the roof with the base. Not to be taken too seriously... :o) Cheers! M

Great variation on a theme ! I love these industrial columns and pillars. Just a couple of ideas to add to the feel of it : As for the roof, how a bout a mushroom style attachment, starting from the center (where the hole is) and expanding towards the periphery, with added gizmos next to the column and pillars ? And what about replacing the glass windscreens with holo commercials ? And giving a more "heavy" look to the seats ? Anyway, just my 2 eurocents. Feel free to ignore it alltogether : I'd buy the set as it is now anyway...

Thanks for the input, compiler. :o) There's a couple of transparent polygons (one facing in either direction) embedded inside the plasteel screens. These can be mapped as video/holo displays later on. I suppose I could replace the seats on this set to be completely different with the other mesh. Here's an update so far... :o) Cheers! M

I'm liking this new version too. I'm sure we can make the "glass" pannels hideable or use them as holo screens. I'm kind of thinking this would go well with a maglev commuter train. I can see it as a platform with trains pulling up on either side.

Great tubular architecture. It reminds me of the Baltar pavillion. It really changes the feel of the whole thing. Brilliant ! I know you don't really need input to have great ideas. I just wanted to add my own crazyness to the brain storming, so here's an idea I had at lunchtime (see pic) : the town train would run on magnetic ramps, and the passengers would embark by being lifted into it. The town train would be a cross between a double decker bus, a land train and the Titanic. The wait stations would be lined in the streets, and the town train would get up and down the office levels, while the regular buses (rusty textures because low level areas ?) would gather the passengers in the "old fashion way", by ground, to reach the 0 level factories. If the cars and buses are moving at various levels, then you'd need "bus stops" appended in mid air, or even suspended, to catch correspondances. OK, OK, I stop here.

Oh, nice touch! I like the "heaviness" of the supports, too! I like Compiler's image above...I hadn't thought of "stringing" them along like that. OK, now I'm drooling!

I can see this working in several scenes in my head. Looking good so far.
