Somebody know how to transpose elements from 3ds 4 to poser, with uv map coordinate, and saving of scale and exact position ? I try with two sort of objects, the 1st are liquid container, and the second, more complicate are a sort of wig with multiple sort of dread-locks. Once exported and opened with poser, all the uv coord disappear, and i cannot create a good template...there is always some faces hiding...and for no reason some meshes change of position (Z coord from 180 ) Thanks for helping and sorry for my bad english.

Loosing of UV maps is a problem I know very well. I fix it with a shareware programm that no longer exists for download. Send me your email as Instant Message and I will see what I can do for you.

You can try PoseRay to convert the 3DS file into OBJ and import that into Poser. UV coordinates will be kept in the translation.

You can get PoseRay at the provided link.

See the tutorials in the manual on how to use PoseRay as an import tool for Poser.
