Tigress! Tigress! eyes alight
With reflection maps so bright,
Could Bryce, Vue, or Firefly
Raytrace thy furry symmetry?

Coming shortly to Free Stuff ... a new texture set for Furrette 2.0. This will be the first in the feline series, and I'd just like to say, for the record, that painting stripes across seams can be a real pain.

I'm crunching down the JPEGs now, and will provide a link as soon as it becomes available.

Thank you, MorriganShadow. Here's a larger, more detailed render.

These also showcase the first set of generic bump and displacement maps for Furrette 2.0, which will be released simultaneously as a separate download. MAT poses written specifically for P4, Pro Pack, and P5 should make application a bit easier.

I'm including a new feline nose morph in the tigress texture pack. It will later be added to Furrette's base files.

Did I miss the digigrade foot update?

It looks good but the femaninity sops above the shoulders. Pete

I'll have to release my morphs I did for her as a freebie one of these days. I've been waiting to add them to the digigrade version though...

She looks purrrrfect! She looks great in the detailed render. Excellent work on the texture.

Did I miss the digigrade foot update?

Hopefully, next week, along with her male counterpart.

The files are now available for download at 448Studios, courtesy of SpiritWolf448. I'll post them here in Free Stuff later.

There's a small quirk with the bump and displacement MATs in Poser 5, which I couldn't avoid; consult the readme before using.

freyfaxi posted Thu, 02 December 2004 at 9:21 PM

I don't know if it was coincidence or not..but as soon as I'd finished downloading tigress files from 448 site..Norton AV came up and said I was infected with Trojan Start virus. Nortan seemed to have great trouble deleting this ..only succeeded on reboot of System. Anyone else have probs ?

Gareee posted Thu, 02 December 2004 at 9:58 PM

no issues here to speak of.. I downloaded everything again, too, to make sure I have the latest greatest. I really think Furrette 2 shoulda been a commercial item..

LOL I knew some canadian friends who used to send me pictures like that. How they could do it I'll never know. [shiv-vvv-er] Neato snow, BTW. What program did you make the snow in?

Little_Dragon posted Tue, 07 December 2004 at 1:05 AM

Rendered in Poser 5, with JPeter's free animated blizard prop (from this year's holiday giveaway) for the falling snow, and my usual crude experiments with P5 shaders for the ground snow.
