Hi Chudo - I'm new here also, but the application I found is called Apophysis and it is freeware. I found it by searching Google and following the link I've included here. It's a pretty nice program and creates cool fractals. Have fun!chudo121 posted Sat, 04 December 2004 at 1:15 PM

Hi Chudo, If your wife likes Apophysis and the flame fractals it generates, then I have a tutorial on my website that will get her up and going. All the fractals on my site are flame fractals. Also another nice freeware programme is Fractal Explorer at http://www.eclectasy.com/Fractal-Explorer/ Fransofie-filo posted Sat, 04 December 2004 at 3:19 PM

Hi all,The webpage from Paul N. Lee contains many links to fractal generators. Some are freeware; some are very cheap in purchasing them. I'm using Ultra Fractal and Apophysis for a couple of years now. All the best, Jos.

I really suggest fractal explorer to begin with as well. It generates a huge variety of images and is fairly easy to learn. Sincerely, Treena
