The Nene bird is the state bird of Hawaii. Also known as Hawaiian goose. I didn't get the opportunity to photograph one of these birds, but I did capture the warning sign.

Now this is truly what makes the challenge fun - learning something new - I had never heard of a Nene bird - Do you have any images of one??? Great shot :)
