What/where is the best site/forum to find a good texture maker to work in collaboration with on some models..? I am getting desperately short of time to make the Christmas deadline sorta thing.

Here's the best place, matey. I can't help, unfortunately, I'm swamped with stuff to do. I'm certain you'll have to beat 'em off with a shitty stick soon, though.

What do you call a boomerang that doesn't come back? A stick. :)

"Did you watch Paul Burrell eating the Roo's bollocks..?" Nah, I don't watch telly. I never did watch it much but stopped totally about 6 years ago. Oh yeah, the Texture Forum. Forgot about that one.

been there... done that. It doesn't exactly look like the busiest forum to me. With a grand total of '1' post, I doubt very many people go there.

You could always just go through the marketplace, find a handful of people whose work you like, then email them to see if they're interested.

Good eyed deer... but no thanx. I haven't got the bottle to do that. I have great self doubt over my models as it is, without being turned down by someone else 'cos they think they are not worthy of their skills. Thanx anyway

Countach: I am not looking for a texture maker... I am looking for a texture maker... errr... that is a texturer.. texturist... textologist, or whatever they call themselves.. I need someone to make textures for my models. But... thanks for the thought :-) ziggie

Ziggiw texture artist, texturist or surfacer usually :) you know ..one of the weirdos who stares intently at peeling paint until the people near them start edging away. (yes I've had that happen) countach I do have that program, but I'm sure I don't use it to its full potential. At the moment I mostly use it to make fabric textures seamless when I'm in a rush. I know its capable of much more than that ... but I have a limit to how many programs I can learn at once :P it does not have a very intuitive interface IMHO ..but at least it has tutorials. Lyrra
