Here is a classic example of snow in the background in the sun, with the foreground illuminated by the open blue sky. I haven't quite decided what to "do" with this one. [Maybe nothing.] In my monthly Challenge entry the lighting was similar, and I corrected the bottom portion if the image differently from the top. I was not entirely happy with the result; it correctly whitened the snow, but also (correctly) brought out the green in the cattails. It looked wrong. This looks colder!
