If we had a gallery I'd post this there (with no comments or ranking). I wanted to figure out the texturing methods so I made the wall, floor, table and globe using Rhino. The other stuff I had laying around (also Rhino). It was rendered in YafRay. I discovered that Blender does better Importing .vrml than .dxf. Maybe thats why its on the top of the list of choices. The light in YafRay was not bright enough. I know there are other ways to deal with this but for now what I did was select the light and duplicate it at the same location twice. One of them I turned off the shadows. Just another training aid. I'm going to reuse this as I learn Global Illumination so you'll be seeing it again.
