Hi FE people, I recently downloaded the latest version of Fe--2.01, and whenever I try to work with the Sterling formulae I am rudely informed that the Sterling library is missing...v 2.0 the same, no dice. I wrote to Arthur but got no reply. Anybody have the full thing or know where I can get it? TIA, Toby

I use version 2.00 beta 1 and don't have any trouble with the Sterling library. I didn't care for the newest version. Marion

Hi Toby, If you have any older version of FE, copy and paste the file ftloo01.dll into your newer version. That should do it. I can send it to you if you want:) Panny

Thanks Panny, that works. I wonder why Arthur released the new one without that dll... Hi Marion. I downloaded the release 2.00 and it also is lacking the Sterling library for some reason. My older versions have it luckily. Toby

Hi Toby, I'm sorry to hear that the Sterling library still doesn't work. I haven't used FE for a while, but the other day I opened it and the compiler is messed up. I DL it again and am still having error messages. Very puzzling. Marion

Take a look here. All the "extra" files should be here. If you can't get it working IM me. http://www.fractalfairy.com/~feusers/fefiles/index.html Dennis

And I uploaded new versions of FE 2.00 and FE 2.01 that include the missing .dll for sterling to my website, too. Marion, I don't know why your compiler isn't working correctly, you might need to download it again (if you don't have a copy on hand) and overwrite the files in your FE folder. If a DOS window appears and FE seems to do nothing, just hit the "close" button on the DOS window and see if the fractal computes. Hope this helps.
