Okay haven't had this problem ever so really wondering what the heck is going on now. I did a few scans so nothing there I am just boggled why Poser keeps locking on me. Now I am curious if I should just do another uninstall reinstall or if anybody else has any ideas. (using things used before with no probs just seems to lock while working in the program and slowly getting a picture done)

when you say "it locks" that can describe several situations. Can you say exactly what happens, with any error messages, and what you're doing at the time (e.g. rendering in firefly, rendering with p4 renderer, switching from one camera to another, moving from one library folder to another)? Also any changes on the rest of your system, added new hardware or other programs?

Well all tat's different is simply that I had the comp shutdown for 4 days and turned it back on, actually i think since been so long just needed time to get back in gear. Finished an idea I had. No error messages or anything would just lock (well the comp itself, mouse wouldn't move though this thing I think is buying the farm)

I was getting complete lock-ups for a while with poser, it turned out my motherboard needed replacing. Got a new one about a month ago and Poser runs like a dream now. Whoops, jinxed it ;-)
