Hi all, Can someone tell me if the body (i.e. below the head) of the Mike 3 to Mike 2 character is unimesh, or could it accept MOR poses for M2 ? The reason why I am asking this is because I don't like the shape of M3's body. Its a bit scraggly, with floppy ragdoll arms, and armpits that almost go through the shoulder (V3 seems to have a similar affliction). So, I am looking at alternatives, including the possibility of using the M2 body (and its morphs) with M3's head. Initially, I thought of "Frankensteining" M3's head onto M2's body, but that can be a tricky process. So, I am now wondering if the M3 to M2 character could be useful in this regard ? I tried using the method of transferring full-body morphs (i.e. from M2 to M3-to-M2), as outlined in the attached link. This didn't work, because when I went to change the dials, there was no response in the body shape. Can anyone advise me further in this ? thanks, Andrewmmogul posted Mon, 20 December 2004 at 8:18 PM

by Dodger, a m3 char with m2 shapemathman posted Mon, 20 December 2004 at 8:24 PM
Thanks, mmogul. I already have Daniel. As far as I understand though, Daniel is based on M3 (in Group 1 of the Unimesh range of characters and takes M3's body and head morphs), but is a different character. He has a different look than what M3 does. Does he actually take M2's body morphs ? (....I wouldn't think so, seeing as he is actually a Unimesh character). regards, Andrew

Mathman, Daniel only takes Unimesh morphs. However, you can use the David converted morphs on him to get really nice effects. Check Dodger's free items for purchasers of Aeon figures to get the pose sets for David's morphs for M3/Daniel. It does require that you have already purchased the David morphs though.

I dont have Daniel, but it really looks like M2. u r rigth, it will not take m2 morphs...mathman posted Mon, 20 December 2004 at 8:43 PM
Thanks Jim. As I mentioned, even though Daniel is M3-based, he is still a different character to M3 (...and also M2 for that matter). He has a very different facial appearance etc. So then, how is it possible to get someone that looks like M3 (facially), and can take M3 morphs - but has a much more robust figure than what DAZ provided for us in M3 ? regards, Andrew

Correction to my last entry ...... second paragraph should read : "So then, ....., and can take M3 Head morphs...."

Doesn't Daniel have a "Look like M3" type option? I haven't used the figure in a bit but it might ... You might ask Dodger about it.
