I just upgraded to P5, and have a question. I found out shortly after getting P4 and downloading almost every freebie I could find, and thne buying stuff, that P4 has a limit of 255 subfolders in each category. I know that P5 will let you open different runtime folders, but is there still the 255 subfolder limit? My HD completely died yesterday, and I did not have a BU of my runtime folder, just each ZIP or EXE, so I'm rebuilding the runtime. TIA.

There's no limit in P5. But you might want to use multiple runtimes anyway. Poser runs faster, if your runtimes aren't too big. Check out Cliff's words of wisdom on how to set up multiple runtimes, and why:

Check out these 2 links as well http://www.poserpros.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=43 http://www.runtimedna.com/messages.ez?forum_id=28 for tips on how to make poser5 work better, make sure you have the SR4.1 update too as that improves things hugely. Also check out the Python forum on here for some of the best addon scripts you can get to make using Poser5 so much easier.
