OK i ve decided to start using V3 for some things can anyone point me to who makes the BEST* natural realistic skin textures for Vicky 3 NO heavy makeup orange painted crap please!! im talking stricty on the level of steffyz's famous "Asia" skin textures.. OH..and as much as I admire what Faceoff is doing with his real skin shader its not usable to me as it I dont do final renders in poser5 but in cinema4DXL 8.5 on the MAC where i have several subsurface scattering simulation options money/cost is no object

I am always trying to get that natural realistic skin look...the easiest way might be to make your own. Here is a sample of one Im working on...the basic texture is from a photo ref set...comments ?

Morris here in our marketplace has awesome textures and 3dream also.

I'm going to say Morris as well, I've never gone wrong with her work. A very good buy is the International Beauty Bundle at DAZ, this has the International Beauty morphs as well as all five texture sets. Purchased all together, they are excellent value and all at 3000x4000 in size. If you want to fill in the gaps as it were, you get them at her 'rosity store (Zena is an excellent dark Black texture). She also does very good make up! Although a little smaller, I'd also suggest Danae's V3 textures - they render very well and are perfect for the catwalk look!

All good character makers, I agree. I'd also like to include Vali, Dalinise, Goldtassel, Rhiannon and Orion1167.

I buy mostly Mike textures and few V3/SP every now and then.

The best textures for 3rd generation characters are, imho, all from the DAZ website:

A+ (for Absolute Perfection! Imperfectly humans with Killer Bump maps!)

Steph P by Daz
David by Daz

A (for Excellence)

International Beauties
Micheal 3
Luke and Laura
Anna Marie Digital Clone
Aredhel Elf and Human
The Freak

B+ (Excellent but either not entirely photoreal, or errorless, or lacking gen textures, or not having quailty bump maps, teeth, eyes, or TRs)

Sledmasters
Ronin and Manborg
Poppy, PanPan, and Tao
Jade
Craig

For non-Daz textures of excellent quality, try Stephy Z. She hasn't made a M3 texture yet so I haven't tried any of her Gen 3 textures, but the M2 ones were the very best. Also try the top sellers, and the highest ranked textures here on Rendersity. I haven't tried them, but I'm very interested in DANAE's V3 textures.
