All of them? Or just on conforming clothing items?

If a prop is locked the trans dials wont affect it. If a figure has inverse kinematics on the trans dials wont always work either.

i have no idea what you are saying lol what is all that kinematics and inverse and stuff clueless here thankyou for trying though i wish i need as much about this i jsut got my first pc a few months ago and this is a stretch for me i only know that i try to move something anything and they jsut dont want to move then trans dials i mean took me an hour to move a cats paw and it didnt have to go that far

if a figure has inverse kinematics switched on for the arms or legs (or both) the trans dials wont work. Sometimes with posing it is easier to select the body part and move it, try selecting the paw and moving it into place. The xtrans dial moves things from side to side. The ytrans dial moves things up and down. The ztrans dial moves things forwards and backwards.

thanks for your help can you please tell me then how would i know if the inverse kinematics are on or not is there something that would say that in there? and you know i have jsut been moving those dials by eyeballing them buti notice that something that looks really close at one angle will be miles away at another is there a key to how much you are actually moving when you adjust the trans dials? like the distance one the ztrans if i move it 1 how far does it actually go?

Inverse kinematics are usually only in figures not clothes or props. In the figure menu there is use inverse kinematics, if you select this and uncheck all ticks on the figure then inverse kinematics will be turned off for that figure. I don`t know the actual scale of the trans dials but it is usually better to turn them a small amount to start with and keep adjusting them by small amounts till you get the pose or the object position right.
