*Take a peek, with dr geep,
Straight at the level, not too steep.
Pickling Poser with Poser pics,
Dr geep and his real neat tricks.
Hasten newbies, to the goodies,
In glamorous, glorious, golden 2Ds.
So no more idiots, no more fools,
With dr geep's, terrifically tremendous 'tools'.

Thanks Jupiterkris, but your link refers to the discussions, not to the tuts themselves. Could you please tell me ignorant newbie where I can find dr Geep's treasures. B.

Geep puts his tutorials into forum messages. Then everyone gets involved in a discussion about the lessons. (I find it all very confusing at times, so I download the thread with the tutorials and edit out all the extra comments.) You sometimes need to scroll past all the comments to see the whole tutorials. I took a quick look, and it was there. Do a search for geep here in the forums, you'll see all his tutorials. And I believe Crescent hosts many of them on her web site.

Thanks. I've seen the references to Dr. Geeps goodness on the forums but could never really figure out where to go to find them. I must not have read the FAQ. ;)

thanks, Bobbie, I begin to understand now. B.

I just saved a bunch of Dr Geep's tutorials in pdf format. Unfortunately, I'm easily confused by his style and the sense of fun. I got started on a promising tutorial on lights (cameras?), then he wanted to build the light or camera. Then we have all the extra characters jumping in with comments. I gave up. I guess all of us have different learning styles.

I searched for "geep" and came up with more links than I could possibly investigate. Is there a collection of threads that contains the tutorials? Or a better way to search?

Don't forget to check out RDNA. They have a very good P5 forum.

Crescent has hosted many of geep's tutorials, and organized them according to subject. You can actually download the Adobe Acrobat versions.

I downloaded all of them. Unfortunately, I find geep's teaching style to be totally confusing. I'll continue to look elsewhere for useful info. I've looked at Runtime DNA also. The problem there is the tendency to post without editing, and some of the info appears to be at best "subject for debate." I ran into that when trying to sort out settings for rendering in Firefly (Poser 5).

You'll probably love Geep's tutes. Some folks like myself are just too "challenged" to understand him.
